After school French club

Bonjour!

I hope you are all enjoying the last of the summer and what a fab summer it has been - we went back to France for a holiday and enjoyed every minute of it , especially the wine drinking minutes , and caught up with all our friends in Catalan country.
I did find that our French was a little rusty at the beginning but we soon were jabbering away in French after a few days. If you don't use it , you lose it, as they say, and with that in mind, I'm hoping to do an after school French club for primary kids. We'll be learning French in a fun atmosphere - learning about French culture, singing French songs, watching French cartoons, that kind of thing.

Welcome to the French Hip Club

Bonjour tout le monde!

Firstly, let me introduce myself : My name is Karen and I've two children aged 6 and 8. We lived in France for the past 12 years and my children were born there. We recently moved to Clonakilty and are loving it. I really want my children to continue speaking French and so am setting up this club.
I envisage having French get togethers for children where we will play games in French, watch French cartoons, sing songs, do basic and advanced French classes.
For the adults, we could organise French soirées, wine and food matching, French films, French lessons, French cookery lessons, maybe even trips to France.
